Read and follow all warnings before installation. Review with your compliance team prior to publication.

Install and wire the fixture in accordance with national and local electrical codes and applicable low-voltage landscape lighting requirements.

Use only with compatible 9–15 Vac low-voltage outdoor landscape lighting systems and properly rated transformers.

Do not exceed transformer load capacity. Use 32.30 VA per Morpheus fixture for load calculations unless Dauer publishes an updated value.

Do not submerge fixtures or connectors unless the specific accessory is rated for submersible use.

Do not modify the fixture, lens system, antenna, wiring, or RF / Bluetooth components.

Use outdoor-rated low-voltage cable and connectors appropriate for the installation environment.

Keep wireless devices within documented range during pairing and commissioning.

Chapter 1

Download the Dauer App

Search for and download the Dauer Smart App from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code supplied on page 2.

Then open the app, review and accept the user agreement and privacy policy.

Press Sign Up and continue.

Enter your country and email address. Agree to the Privacy Policy and press Get Verification Code

Enter the verification code sent to your email. Then set your password.

Follow the instructions to allow notifications and location services.

Go to the Me tab and click on settings and then privacy settings if you want to edit permissions.

CHAPTER 2

Create a Home

From the Me tab, select Home Management.

Tap Create a home. Existing homes are listed above it.

Enter a Home Name and set the Location, then tick the rooms this home needs.

Use Add Room for rooms not on the default list, such as Porch, and press Confirm.

Review the home under Home Settings. The creator is the Home Owner; use Add Member to invite others.

Adding the Fixture

Return to the home tab and press the Add Device button.

Point the RF clicker at the fixture. Press and hold the button until the fixture flashes to enter pairing mode.

From the Home tab, tap the + button and select Add Device.

Select the Morpheus fixture under Discovered Devices. Keep your phone close to the fixture during pairing.

Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap Next.

Once the device is successfully added, tap its name to open the Control Panel.

Add an Admin

Tap Role and change it from Common Member to Administrator.

Tap a preset to instantly snap to that beam angle. Press the clock for the scheduler, the power button to turn on/off and the KLE Presets to access loops.

Scheduling

Select a device or group from the Home screen. From its Control Panel, tap the Clock icon.

Choose the time, select the active days, and set the action to ON or OFF. Tap Save.

Network Expansion & Coverage Recommendations

For larger installation areas that require extended coverage, the team strongly recommends implementing dedicated wireless access points rather than relying on standard router ranges. During our field testing, the TP-Link EAP650 - Outdoor demonstrated exceptional performance, maintaining a lag-free connection over a 400-foot range.

Integrating this hardware into the project scope ensures a stable, highly reliable connection for all smart landscape fixtures while simultaneously upgrading the client's overall property Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Voice Control Setup

ALEXA - GOOGLE

1. Every Morpheus fixture is individually addressable on your network.

2. View its IP and MAC in Device Info to identify, ping, or troubleshoot the fixture from your router.

3. Use a DHCP reservation if you need a stable address for integration with third-party controllers.

OTA Firmware Updates

When a firmware update is available, the Dauer Smart App displays a badge on the device tile. Tap Update and keep the fixture powered and within Wi-Fi range until the progress bar completes (typically 2–4 minutes). The fixture reboots automatically and restores its previous state.

STEPS TO INSTALL

1. Search for and download the "Dauer Manufacturing" on the iOS or Android App Stores

2. Follow the steps that include: Allow Notifications and Terms Agreement.

3. Create an account. Follow the steps to verify your email.

4. Login and allow For: Bluetooth and Location Settings

5. You are now ready to add the Morpheus. See Chapter 3 for details on adding a device.
